Halloween at the Mansion 2001 was a fabulous event, with
approximately 250 attendees. The main star of the evening was, of course, the
mansion - the 1868 Pardee Home Museum - enveloped in darkness and
available for touring by flashlight. Also available were tarot card and crystal
ball readings, ouija playing, coloring and art stations, a photo gallery, a
haunted potting shed created by Chiodo Arts, wonderful refreshments from
Spettro restaurant, a costume and bloodcurdling scream contest, a
graveyard... and the Autopsy Room in the basement, where Dr. George Pardee got a
little carried away and began his autopsy on an unfortunate patient who was
still alive! Mark your calendars for Oct. 26, 2002, when the fun starts all over
again! |
